As part of ADSM’s community engagement commitment to promote health awareness and education, a health screening day was arranged for students, faculty and community of ADSM in partnership with Burjeel Hospital’s Prince Medical Center. The health topic of ‘How to protect your skin in the summer season?’ was presented to all students by Burjeel Hospital Dermatology Department to offer insight into early protection and detection of skin care conditions during the summer months. The day continued with a comprehensive Health Screening Clinic offered to all which included screening of Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure as well as a free consultation with the Dermatologist. Most students were interested on techniques to protect their skin, and the majority of the students were interested in knowing their BMI.
