Congratulations to ADSM’s Associate Professor of Management, Dr. Constance Van Horne, on her article publication titled “Teamwork Made in China: Soft Skill Development with a Side of Friendship in the STEM Classroom”. This was published in Education Sciences Journal by MDPI . The study explores the impact of a team-based project in fostering soft skills through active learning, communication and collaboration skills. Interestingly, the results show that besides skill improvement, a noteworthy outcome was the formation of friendships. This emphasizes that teamwork not only helps in skill building but also plays a role in fostering interpersonal relationships.
