ADSM received Ms. Vicki Stott, Chief Executive Officer of the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and Julie Till, Head of Business Development, International & Professional Services.
QAA team’s visit was part of a nation-wide visit to higher education institutions accredited by the QAA. ADSM received the QAA institutional accreditation in September 2022.
QAA Chief Executive, Vicki Stott expressed her satisfaction with ADSM’s accreditation of its Quality Assurance Management System through the UK QAA’s International Quality Review (IQR) process. ADSM team led by the President & Provost, Professor of Computing, Machine Learning and Analytics, Dr. Abdullah El-Kwafi Abonamah expressed their satisfaction with the professionalism of the QAA reviewers in completing their review. The conversation between QAA and the ADSM team also touched on developments in higher education, and in particular, micro-credentialing in the local and European contexts. ADSM was also represented by the Academic Dean – Dr Marc Poulin , Director of Quality and Risk Management Office– Dr Tarek Nasr and Senior Quality and Compliance Officer – Valentine Matthews.
